1. Support for your Protection Plans
When you need service for a covered event, immediately initiate a service request online or call Guardsman customer service, based in Michigan; the phone number is included on your Furniture Protection Plan. It’s critical that you report the issue quickly within the timeframe indicated on your plan to help ensure a successful repair.

If you initiate your service request by phone, you will be mailed (or emailed) a service request form; if you initiate your service request online, you will be asked to print the service request form. The service request form must be fully completed, signed, and returned to Guardsman along with documentation of your purchase within 30 days of your initial report. You may also be asked to provide photographs of your damaged furniture, which will enable us to determine the right solution to your furniture issue. Guardsman uses the information on your form and other information to decide how to respond to your service request and to provide you with the most efficient service possible.
2. Furniture Repair Technician Network
Service requests that require a technician to repair damage are referred to one of our many furniture repair professionals selected by Guardsman based on their expertise in solving furniture problems. Some of them are even Guardsman FurniturePro® franchisees! These trained professionals successfully repair 90% of the damage that they are called to repair on the first visit to your home. Within a few days of receiving your completed service request information, the repair technician selected by Guardsman will contact you directly to schedule an appointment to visit your home. You will know who is coming to your home and when they will be there.
Damage that can’t be repaired in your home may require us to buy replacement parts for your furniture, and sometimes (if your Plan provides for it) we buy replacement furniture when other solutions aren’t available. If your damage falls into this category, someone from Guardsman will contact you to bring your service request to resolution.
Not all plans cover all of these forms of damage; some plans cover additional stains and damage. Plans vary by retailer. Please consult your plan or your retailer for specific information about coverages (including whether your plan offers replacement coverage) and exclusions.
