Leather Types
A – Aniline & Pull Up Leather
Natural leather of the highest quality that is minimally processed to accentuate genuine characteristics of the cowhide such as growth marks, scars and scratches. Aniline leather has little to no protective coat. Neutral to slightly acidic water-based products are recommended for cleaning and protection. Pull Up Leather is natural leather with either an Oil or Wax protection applied. Wax conditioner products that are specifically manufactured by leather care experts formulated for use on pull up leathers are recommended for cleaning and protection.

AP – Semi Aniline Leather
Natural leather that has a light or thin layer of protection. Neutral or slightly acidic water-based products are recommended for cleaning and protection.

P – Protected/Pigmented Leather
Leather that has a layer of pigmented finish and clear topcoat applied that provides a uniform impermeable appearance and a very durable surface that yields more resistance to scratches, scuffing and fading than all other leather types. Neutral or slightly acidic water-based products are recommended for cleaning and protection.

N – Nubuck
Top grain cowhide that has been sanded or buffed to give a slight nap to the surface. Clean by gently brushing the nap in all directions using a soft bristle brush and vacuum the loose fibers once done. Solvent-based fabric protection that can be sprayed on are recommended.
